Tasting Notes
The Riserva is only produced in favourable years from carefully selected Sangiovese grapes, with small amounts of Colorino and Cabernet. Complex, elegant wine, well structured with rich, mature fruit. Aged in oak and only released after 3 years. Well matched to mature hard cheeses, red meats and game.

The territory of Montespertoli lies to the south-west of Florence, in the area between two valleys Val di Pesa e Val d'Elsa. It received deserved recognition in 1997 as a sub-zone called "Chianti Montespertoli" and Vinsanto del Chianti Doc Montespertoli.
The Parri family has been active in this area for four generations, and the estates cover 180 hectares - of which 60 are under vine.
