Tasting Notes
The name of Gevrey Chambertin is the largest appellation in the area Côte de Nuits, with a total of approximately 530 hectares (including 356 ha classified as a village).
Medium purple to red in colour, the nose is rich and ripe, with notes of dark fruit and spices. On the palate the wine is both concentrated and intense, but with the freshness to match. The finish is long, showing the spices and hints of licorice, with firm, slightly oaky tannins. A big, firm masculine Gevrey.

Cyprien Arlaud has added a new dynamism to the family estate. A ‘culture ecologique’ in the vineyards coupled with no fining or filtration. The emphasis here is on pure, supple wines of fruit and finesse rather than force.
