Domaine Jean Tardy Père et fils, Nuits St Georges 1er Cru Les Boudots 2001
Tasting note: The cut that was missing from the Vigneux is present here with exuberant and wonderfully fresh black fruit aromas and dry, beautifully spicy, rich and velvety flavors that offer much better detail and fine finishing length and complexity. An elegant and seductive wine of refinement and balance.

Tasting note: Fairly strong reduction hides the nose but the spicy flavors are round, rich and velvety with buried structure and fine length plus a finish that possesses better precision than the prior two wines.
